Curtis Salgado & his band return to the road for their first national tour of the year 2002 beginning May 17 in Hampton, VA and ending June 29 in Pinedale, WY. The tour will include first time appearances in Annapolis, MD, Springfield, OH, Glens Falls, NY, Rockland, ME, Cleveland, OH, Angola, IN, Henderson, KY, and Pinedale, WY.

Curtis has been invited to be an award presenter at the Blues Foundation’s 23rd Annual W.C. Handy Blues Awards, Thursday, May 23, 2002 at the historic Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, TN. Curtis has been nominated for a Handy Award in the Soul/Blues Album of the Year Category for his Shanachie Entertainment Release “Soul Activated.”
